One of our ewes finally gave way and bought 2 beautiful lambs into the world at 11pm. What ensued for the next 3 hours could only be described as a mucky mess involving all manner of sheeply bodily fluids! Bethany being of a rather fragile disposition when it comes to gore, found herself frantically milking the ewe at 2am into a syringe to feed the lambs. As it was the ewes first time she was clueless as to what had happened, and indeed what she should be doing. But as you can see from the photo’s the lambs are well and were testing their little legs within 2 minutes of their lives.
