We are in the midst of creating a new home for our sheep, who are in temporary accomodation up the lane with a very kind neighbour. However, this could not happen until the grass was cut, thanks to one of the wettest June’s in recorded history causing Manna to turn into a jungle seemingly overnight. There was a somewhat hairy moment when Bethany went before the tractor to guide him away from a newly planted hedge, only to find the grass was taller than her head, making her invisible! Fortunately frantic waving caused the driver to take a swift left hand turn. We made good headway with the fencing, with the hope that the remaining chunk will be completed within the next couple of weeks. Next job, herding sheep down a public highway!
